ââ BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ââ
In 2007 the building was split into apartments and fully renovated by Joreno Bouw, one of only a handful contractors at that time known for excellent quality of work and material use. This has been confirmed in practice by practically every aspect of living here being hassle-free in the years since.
Replaced as part of the renovation: entire foundation, all gas and water pipes, the entire electrical installation, all roof coverings including all tiles, zinc work, and dormers. New window frames were placed throughout the building, fitted with HR++ double glass and the entire interior has been renovated as well. On the facade all paintwork was redone in 2016 as part of grand maintenance.
The facade was almost certainly entirely renovated and impregnated, too; Although available documentation doesn't explicitly say, the bricks and mortar are still as good as new and can last for many years to come.
